As a founding partner of digital strategy firm, Future Point of View (FPOV), Scott lives on the leading edge of technology and innovative thinking. Scott speaks to large audiences worldwide about the intersection of humanity and the Digital Transformation. Through FPOV, Scott provides advisory work for clients including Fortune100, SMB’s and government entities. This work has driven him to develop unique concepts such as the HUMALOGY® Scale for measuring the amount of human or machine involved in a system or process, and the Rivers of Information® process for building learning eco-systems. He also pioneered a framework for looking accurately into the future of an industry sector in order to set organizational strategy: The High Beam process.
Scott co-founded Alkami Technology (ALKT), the developer of a second-generation online banking platform with innovative features non-existent in current systems. The company went public in 2021 at a $3billion valuation and is today headquartered in Dallas with over 350 employees.
Scott is recognized globally for his unique ability to accurately predict future digital trends and explain the logic behind why these will alter the current status quo of the economy and society. While business application of his insights is extremely valuable to leaders and companies, he is also motivated help improve the impact post Covid environments are having on people and their daily lives. Technology has been increasingly driving change and stress and recent events are amplifying this problem. He has a unique perspective on how to manage the personal toll technology is causing people, teams and organizations.
Even as a young child, Scott was destined to see the world through a Humalogy® lens. His father was a programmer for Boeing and his mother was a counselor who mixed many philosophies into her practice of helping people in life. To this day, he is a hybrid of a technologist and humanist who strives to find a hopeful future in blending the two.
Scott has the ability to entertain, inspire, and enlighten audiences, while helping them gain new perspectives about how technology is impacting us. Scott never does a canned presentation with the exact content across events. He sets himself apart from other speakers by architecting his content with the latest examples, current events and trends relevant for the keynote he is delivering.
He is equally adept at giving large stage keynotes, speaking to small boards of directors, facilitating half and full day workshops, and doing break-out sessions. As an added bonus of his presentations, attendees come away learning how to be a better facilitator, speaker or presenter by seeing Scott use different applications and technologies to engage audiences either in a virtual, hybrid or in person setting. The best measure of his ability to inspire and inform audiences is the high percentage of speaking clients who bring him back for follow up work with their audiences.

Daniel J. Lohrmann is an internationally recognized cybersecurity leader, technologist, keynote speaker and author. He led Michigan government’s cybersecurity and technology infrastructure teams from May 2002 to August 2014, including as enterprise-wide chief security officer (CSO), chief technology officer (CTO) and chief information security officer (CISO). During his distinguished career, he has served both the public and private sectors in a variety of executive leadership capacities including advising senior leaders at the White House, National Governors Association (NGA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Throughout his career he has received numerous national awards including CSO of the Year, Public Official of the Year and Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader.

Chris Stotesbery is the Network Access Management Section Chief for the State of Wisconsin within the Department of Administration in the Division of Enterprise Technology (DET), Bureau of Infrastructure Support. He focuses on continued support and future development of network and network access security, identity access control, and cyber security infrastructure for the State of Wisconsin’s Enterprise.
With nearly 20 years serving the State of Wisconsin in Information Technology services as a contractor and full-time employee, Chris has worked in numerous IT positions across multiple state agencies. His skill set and knowledge within the IT community have been an incredible asset to the State of Wisconsin.
Chris is focused on robust, flexible, secure infrastructure environments to protect all state applications, services, and the ability to safely connect, access, or participate with the state’s citizens. He guided multiple inter-agency teams in securing citizen identities, file transfer systems, next-generation firewall solutions, virtual private networks, enforcement of multifactor solutions, and network access control around all state office buildings.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Director of Infrastructure Support Bureau, Division of Enterprise Technology, Department of Administration, State of Wisconsin

Britny Williams is the Infrastructure Support Bureau Director for the State of Wisconsin within the Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) in the Department of Administration (DOA). The Bureau of Infrastructure Support (BIS) is responsible for providing enterprise IT infrastructure and operations support to executive branch agencies across the state. There are seven sections within the bureau that take care of everything from the statewide network and datacenters to directory and identity access management to servers and storage. BIS also supports the State’s mainframe services, database hosting, middleware and collaboration tools, and several specialized enterprise support desks. Britny joined DET almost three years ago with an extensive background in radio engineering and operations.

Stacie Ashby is the Privacy Officer at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue responsible for strategic planning and policy development for the Privacy Program, development and administration of privacy-related trainings, and management of security incidents and investigations. She shares leadership of the Privacy and Security Operations Team with DOR's CISO. Stacie has over 20 years of privacy experience having managed residential and community programs for non-profit agencies prior to coming to the State of Wisconsin. Before joining the Department of Revenue, she worked in the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Sarah Edgerton brings more than 20 years of information technology experience to her role as the Chief Information Officer, where she oversees the City of Madison’s Information Technology (IT) Department. She is committed to providing the highest quality customer service for Madison residents through the use of technology.
Prior to her role as the IT Director, Sarah was the City’s Web Manager, a position she held for 10 years. As the City’s Web Manager, she oversaw the development of digital government services to be sufficiently designed to reach community members and to improve how residents interact with government.
In Sarah’s current role, she leads strategic planning, oversight and management of city-wide IT operations, budget, infrastructure and digital programs and initiatives.

Dave brings more than 40 years of experience in the technical sector to his role as the Assistant Director of Information Technology (IT) for the City of Madison. Dave is committed to ensuring the technology used to support City operations is of the highest quality and that best practices are followed to serve Madison residents in a secure and efficient manner.
Prior to his role as the Assistant Director of IT, Dave has done everything from mainframe programming, to designing a wired cable network infrastructure, implementing client-server computing, and overseeing all aspects of application software development, including the City’s website for the City of Madison.
In Dave’s current role, he assists the IT Director and serves as the IT operations manager providing oversight to all aspects of internal operations of the department.

Utilizing 28 years’ experience in state government, Becky supervises the State Bureau of Procurement's (SBOP) Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Sourcing Section and is responsible for directing the development of statewide and agency specific contracts for IT services, telecommunications acquisitions, IT hardware and software equipment, printing contracts, and other commodity areas such as copiers and multi-function devices. In addition, Becky oversees IT related purchasing activities for all state agencies and university campuses to ensure compliance with statutes and administrative code.

Sarah Larson is an Attorney Supervisor in the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s (DOA) Division of Legal Services where she oversees DOA’s public records request process and serves as the primary legal counsel to DOA’s Division of Enterprise Technology (DET). In her technology-related legal practice, Sarah advises the state CIO and CISO about privacy law, data governance, AI, contracting and procurement, statutory compliance, and the modernization of electronic records management in the hybrid workforce. A thought leader in privacy and AI best practices, Sarah represents Wisconsin at the National Association of Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) Summits and serves on the multi-agency AI work group arising out of the Governor’s AI Task Force.
Before DOA, Sarah worked for 20 years at the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), including four years in DOJ’s Office of Open Government where she advised government agencies and the public about the public records law and open meetings law. Sarah also worked for 16 years in DOJ’s Criminal Appeals Unit where she frequently presented statewide trainings for prosecutors and law enforcement. Passionate about protecting the privacy of crime victims, Sarah also helped shape the legal landscape in Wisconsin by briefing over 350 appellate cases and arguing nine cases at the Wisconsin Supreme Court, resulting in over 20 published court opinions.

Prior to joining Amazon Web Services (AWS), Carlos gained 27 years of experience in federal and state government and higher education. Carlos was the first Chief Data Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. During his tenure, he helped former-Governor Northam, his executive team, and public health and emergency management professionals respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by leveraging data-driven intelligence products to help keep Virginians safe.
In Virginia, Carlos developed a statewide data program that leveraged the data trust as the legal framework to facilitate data sharing across public and private entities. The data program featured a secure cloud-based data sharing platform as the technical implementation of the data trust. He also established a centralized entity resolution service mapping individuals across multiple data systems supporting longitudinal studies. Carlos also provided an enterprise reporting system to facilitate the development and delivery of data-driven intelligence products to internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, he implemented the governance structure which facilitated engagement among leaders across the organization from agency data stewards to state senators in the data conversation.
Carlos also served as Chief Data Officer and Chief Enterprise Architect for the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration in Washington, D.C. Prior to these roles, Rivero worked at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Southeast Fisheries Science Center in Miami, Florida, as a physical scientist and as a research associate at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. This is where he developed a passion for geospatial information systems, ecological modeling, and data.
Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University. He received a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Saint Joseph’s University, focusing on database design, data management, business intelligence, big data, and data analytics.
Carlos enjoys traveling the US with his wife, daughter, and dogs in their RV and participates in outdoor activities everywhere he goes.

Niko Ruud was appointed Division Administrator for the Division of Professional Credential Processing in January 2023. In this capacity, Niko leads a team responsible for managing initial and renewal applications for health, business, and trades professionals; providing legal support to the division; and overseeing the agency’s call center operations.
In 2022, the Division of Professional Credential Processing launched LicensE, an online, self-guided occupational license application platform initially focused on health credentials. Under Niko’s leadership, the division fully adopted this platform for health credentials and subsequently expanded it to include business and trade credentials.
Prior to his current role, Niko served as State Director for the Comprehensive Health and Wellness Program at the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs. Earlier in his career, he was on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, where he led maintenance teams across three assignments. His final active-duty role was as an International Programs Officer and French Instructor at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Troy is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of WI and adjunct at Akron University. With more than 25 years of information security experience, Troy’s experience has included all roles from cybersecurity analyst, engineer, cyber forensic investigator, architect, manager, Director, VP and CISO.
Looking for ways to empower others and give back by sharing his knowledge, Troy spent several years volunteering with a group of internationally recognized experts to write, review and revise both the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification exam questions, answers, and plausible distractors to help the next generation of experts remain current with industry best practices. As these exams are administered internationally the questions and answers had to maintain technology, cultural and regulatory independence. In addition, Troy was asked to provide mentorship for SANS 504 course, Hacking Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling.

The Monona Terrace parking garage is open to the public seven days a week via East Wilson Street and John Nolen Drive. 350 parking spaces are available on weekdays; 600 spaces are available after 5:00 pm weeknights and on weekends.
