The Center for Digital Education hosted a Market Briefing event in San Diego, CA. IT leaders from some of the largest districts in San Diego were hand for a special briefing on their technology plans, priorities and focus for the coming years. Sweetwater Union High School District has over 40,000 students and is committed to providing each one with high-quality education through the use of technology. San Diego Unified School District serves over 130,000 students. San Diego Unified’ s mission is to personalize and optimize teaching and learning for its students and staff. Poway Unified School District’s mission is to use technology as a gateway for its over 34,000 students to acquire and practice the skills needed for learning and development. Encinitas Union School District’s mission is to assist its over 5,000 students to value learning and prepare them to be successful contributors to the 21st century.
The participants briefed the audience on district plans in a variety of topic areas, including computing infrastructure, mobile devices, digital content and curriculum, professional development, cyber security and their plans to incorporate blended learning models.
This event will allow participants to:
