Scott Lommori

Director of Testing and Educational Technology, Lyon County School District

As Scott Lommori’s path in education varied, so have his responsibilities and experiences. As a school district director, his duties have been diverse and allowed him to observe education from many angles. Some of Lommori’s duties have included student discipline/expulsion supervisor, ESL coordinator, homeschool coordinator, Boys and Girls Club liaison, emergency planning director, public relations coordinator and, currently, his position is director of testing, technology and career and technical education (CTE). With the reauthorization of NCLB, Lommori has had numerous opportunities to serve on committees and play a part in defining “college and career ready.” The work that is happening in education is extremely challenging, but exciting, and will have an immense impact on this industry’s future.
