Government Technology's passion is promoting best practices and spurring innovation in the public sector – more important than ever in challenging times like these. We hope you were able to join us for a powerful series of sessions that provided inspiration, participation, education, and thought-provocation!
Following the pandemic, New York is faced with a number of important technology-related challenges, starting with the need to improve the quality of digital services our state provides, secure our systems from cyber threats that are more numerous and more sophisticated, and recruit and retain the next generation of technology leaders who can build on the progress we’ve made and point the way to a better and more prosperous future. We must act smartly and decisively, and seize on this moment to create positive and transformational change. The Digital Government Summit brings together key technology decisionmakers in state and local government IT to collaborate and share best practices on how to fully respond to these challenges so we can better serve hardworking New Yorkers. I am very much looking forward to participating in this year’s summit, and hope you will join us.
