Overview

This event kicked off with a special Large District Leadership Group meeting on the morning of November 9. This invitation-only meeting provides an intimate venue for K-12 IT leaders from the 50 largest school districts to discuss and share experiences, ideas and best practices and develop strategies for the future.

Held in conjunction with the Digital Education Leadership Conversation (DELC), a unique education event that unites CIOs, CTOs, instructional technology leaders, policy makers and senior IT industry executives from around the country.

The Large District Leadership Group meeting provides an intimate venue for K-12 IT leaders to discuss

and share experiences, ideas and best practices, as well as develop strategies for the future. This half-day event is specifically designed for IT leaders who serve the 50 largest school districts across the nation.

Bold decision-makers are the most valuable asset in education today. The Center for Digital Education is committed to our community of national education thought leaders shifting the landscape of education. This year, we are thrilled to add 30 amazing leaders to our exceptional community. Our CDE Top 30 award winners represent thought leaders and innovators in higher education, K-12 and the education nonprofit community, which offers sustenance and influence to the field of education. This panel will showcase winners from this year.

As education leaders, you are presented with opportunities and challenges each day. Some are familiar to you and others are foreign. This portion of our agenda presents attendees with possible opportunities or challenges you may face and gives you the chance to have a conversation with your peers and industry partners about the topics presented. District leaders will facilitate a roundtable conversation about a topic relevant to their work. Industry partners will participate in the conversation as subject matter experts lending a national perspective to the topic. Attendees will have the opportunity to select the topic they are most interested in discussing. We will collect the information from your conversations in a shared document to use as we develop our Converge stories for 2018.
