Industry Insider - California Member Briefing with Los Angeles Police Department 2026 Banner

Overview

Industry Insider – California members are invited to attend this exclusive in-person briefing with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

As one of the nation's largest municipal law enforcement agencies, LAPD serves a diverse population of nearly four million residents across Los Angeles. The department relies on a complex technology environment to support public safety, emergency response, investigations, and daily operations. LAPD is advancing modernization efforts that include cloud infrastructure, records management, cybersecurity, mobile technology, and data integration to improve operational efficiency and provide officers with timely access to critical information.

This briefing offers technology industry partners an opportunity to hear directly from LAPD leadership about the department's strategic IT priorities, ongoing modernization initiatives, and emerging technology needs. Attendees will gain insight into the challenges of supporting a large public safety organization and where innovative solutions can help strengthen operations, improve information sharing, and enhance public safety.
