The State of Washington hosted the first ever Governor’s Summit on Cyber Security and Privacy, convening an audience of public and private sector executives and policy leaders. This invitation only summit provided an open forum for the discussion of the latest cyber security and privacy issues, threats, and responses. This event provided be opportunities for discussion on how to best engage resources to ensure economic resiliency and infrastructure security in an increasingly complex and diverse threatscape. Organized by the Washington State Office of the Governor and the Washington State Office of Cyber Security, a division of Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech), the summit featured presentations from federal, state and private sector cyber security and privacy leaders.
