The Center for Digital Government Held a Digital States Awards Party!
2020 has been a challenging year for state IT leaders and organizations! That is why we were excited to celebrate your accomplishments and successes for the past two years as part of our Digital States Survey.
The Digital States Survey, conducted biannually in even years, is a comprehensive study that examines best practices, policies and progress made by state governments in their use of digital technologies to better serve their citizens and streamline operations.
With the continuing challenges of COVID-19, we went virtual for the first time. In addition to recognizing the progress of states, we held a fun Halloween-themed event. This year, we invited Susan Goldberg, editor in chief at the National Geographic, to be our keynote speaker. Our agenda also included recognition awards and great discussion groups.
