Bridging the K-12 and Higher Education Gap

One of CDE’s esteemed Top 30 winners will speak to us on bridging the gap between K-12 and higher education. An associate professor at Nicholls State University here in Louisiana, Cindy Vavasseur is passionate about the technology leaders coming from her university who she knows will teach future generations. She worked with others to develop a professional development program called ITPD3 (Instructional Technology Professional Development), which is structured to be flexible and accessible, just like the teaching profession. She will use this time to discuss more broadly how programs like hers in higher ed can impact the teachers that walk through your doors.
