Steve Uzzell, Renowned Photographer

Steve Uzzell is a veteran National Geographic photographer and one of the nation's leading corporate photographers. Steve's award-winning approach to his photographic work is driven by the idea that an open mind allows solutions to appear in unexpected places and the philosophy that "preparation leads to magic". Using his striking photographs as illustrations of his metaphor about possibility and creativity, Steve inspires us to take advantage of our own experiences and vision to make any venture an adventure.

GENERAL SESSION

In this session, Barry Driscoll, Senior Director of IT at Fairchild Semiconductor, will provide an overview of Fairchild's selection and implementation of cloud computing technologies for 6000 employees globally in 2009. Barry will specifically discuss the challenges, benefits, and cost savings realized since the migration to the Cloud using their implementation of Google Apps as a primary example of how Fairchild is leveraging cloud computing to achieve its business goals.
